| This lodge is located five minutes by boat from the main entrance to Tortuguero National Park, and is accessible only by air or water. It takes you about 5-6 hours to reach this remote area from San Jose (land and water transportation); 30 minutes flights are available as well. The 26 spacious and nicely decorated rooms all have ceiling fan. This jungle lodge offers a restaurant, bar and swimming pool. Besides de two and 3-day packages, there are several optional tours available: fishing, canopy, bird watching, kayaking, hiking and the popular observation of nesting turtles from July to September. |
