| The caverns were formed in the Miocene period some fifteen to twenty million years ago. For a long time they were submerged in the depths of the ocean, however, due to the movement of tectonic plates, the caverns rose to form part of the surface. Discover in one visit the limestone rock, stalactites, stalagmites and corals which make up the caves.
